ABOUT FULL THROTTLE CYCLES

Full Throttle Cycles NYC is owned and operated by Joey Duarte.  He has built and raced motorcycles for his entire adult life. Joey even raced street bikes professionally from 1988 to 2010 and was sponsored by both Vanson Leather and Hot Body Racing.

In 1994, Joey unknowingly took his first steps towards owning his own motorcycle shop when he completed his first engine build.  Always the overachiever, he continued to expand his knowledge, and in 2002 completed his first fully custom fat boy.   Throughout the years, Joey has gained a ton of experience on servicing and customizing all types of motorcycles with a special focus on Harley Davidson ground up builds and big wheel baggers. 

Joey is passionate about his work and his attention to detail sets him apart from others.  He takes great pride in getting to know and connecting with his customers by understanding their needs and providing the finest level of service.  Working with experienced and well known builders like Dave Perewitz and Paul Yaffe has taught Joey that with enough enthusiasm and knowledge there are no limits in the world of motorcycle construction and customization.
